My friend Kevin forwarded me this link to an article in Wired Magazine about anti-gravity. Cutting to the chase, these antigravity devices are actually powered by ion wind from the high voltage. It’s an interesting read. I, like many SF readers, am quite disappointed that we made it to the twentyfirst century without personal floaters. These lifters that require 120,000 volts for a few pounds of payload ain’t cutting it, though.
