Bloggercon, Day 1, Part 1

I’m in the initial session, the Podcasting presentation. I got to talk for a few minutes and lay out what I think and a little about my history. Through sheer luck, I ended sitting very close to Tony Kahn. I can never overemphasize how good the people at WGBH have been to me over the course of my career in broadcasting. To this day, I get great emails from them. Tony said something great to me. Once he realized the value of the platform (in 10 seconds, “bing”) he wanted WGBH to get out and lead because he thought it was important to prove to the public radio world that this was of value and to lend their credibility to that. I find that really cool. WGBH rocks.
