Good Thoughts for Robert Sheckley

According to this post from Neil Gaiman, Robert Sheckley is in the hospital in Kiev and very ill. I hope he pulls through. I interviewed Bob in 1998 or so, in a failed experiment at doing on-site interviews with writers in their houses and offices. It’s a long story, but it ultimately led to my show getting dropped by the New York City affiliate. He’s also the only person (I know of) that smoked a joint during the interview. Bob is a great guy, and he and I would always chat when we bumped into each other at Orycon or just around and about.

I don’t pray, but I beam all the good thoughts at my disposal towards Bob. Here’s hoping to some good news.
