Flattery Will Get You Everywhere

Mike Dunn tells the tale of being at the podcasting panel at the Syndicate conference and getting a demo from a technologist at CNN of playing podcasts on a PSP. What fine show were they listening to? Heh heh, very cool.

He asks which is cooler, seeing the logo on the PSP or knowing that the CNN guys are into the show? Both are awfully cool, but I do have a little bit of a homefield advantage with the ATL since I know it well, have friends there and feature a lot of Atlanta musicians. I’ll take it, though.

  1. .. what format (and dimensions) do you use for album art? there’s a huge lack of info on this. cheers dave! Kosso

  2. The background to the picture had to do with some comments on the panel about how podcasts were stripped of all branding, and this proved the point, that there is indeed a branding possibility. As we know in big media, branding is ever so important.

  3. Kosso, I just drag my JPG, 400X222, into the artwork portion of the iTunes information of my AIFF or MP3 and it shows up magically. Much like this PSP, I see the picture of anything that has it in my iTunes when I am playing them, and I’m told that you see the picture on a photo iPod as well.
