I Need a Time Machine

In 1990, I voted for Zell Miller for Governor of Georgia. In 2003 I stood behind him in line at a Fuddruckers. Right now, I’m watching clips of his performance from Justice Sunday Two. I want a time machine to go back and 1) not vote for him and 2) punch him in the face. Dear god, how could I have been so stupid?

  1. LMFAO,
Did u see his interview on Hardball with Chris Matthews during the Republican National Convention? I bought Indecision 2004 and it was on there. He basically said he wished he could challenge Chris Matthews to a duel. F-ing crazy.

  2. Actually, I’m in the same boat (I never got near him though). He seemed great in the 1990s and, frankly, I thought he was a good governor.

The question that I think is more appropriate is “What the fuck happened to him?”.

I think he is an awesome argument for stem cell research. If you can save one person from ending up like Zell, it’s worth every penny.

  3. Wow, the money machine went to work quick, it seems, when it comes to Justice Sunday. Just go to http://www.justicesunday.com and you’ll see in the right hand bar “PREORDER YOUR JUSTICE SUNDAY II DVD NOW!” Give me a break! It seems that there is no more shame…you would think if they want to reach as many people as possible with a message they would give it away for free (peace/harmony and free culture seem to go hand in hand to me)…but nope…it seems that they have found those they need…it is they who sit in front of their tv and consume every last drop of crap that is squeezed out…oh yeah…and buy the dvd too.

  4. Seriously emotional instability is a sign of Alzheimer’s. He might be in the news in a couple more years.

  5. I’m glad to hear it’s not just me. I moved away from Atlanta in 2003, and thought maybe I’d imagined the whole thing. Happily voted for him for Governor, thought he did a good job, and again for Senate, then watched in dismay as he got… Well, don’t even know what to call it. I’m just glad people here don’t ask me if I voted for him very often.

Dave, I moved to a VERY small town just in the mountains in Virginia, I hear your pleasure and pain about that whole transition!

  6. remember abscam? we need an equivilant of that to see how many so called democrats are taking payola from republicans.

    audit! audit! audit!

of course the list would consist of dlc dems.
