New Slogan

I’m tired of the “Journal of geekery, music and joy” slogan on this blog. That’s what it’s been since the first day I set up the emacs blog package I used to use over 4 years ago and started to go for it. I’m thinking of changing it to:

Post-modern. Pre-singularity.

Short and to the point. What do you think?

  1. Singularity is too trendy. You will have to change it again.

Kurzweil says we will reach singularity in 2045 and he will live forever unless gets run over and squished into a pancake shape.

I predict he won’t even last until 2045. We are not going to live forever in heaven and we are not going to live forever on earth. Mortality is a fact of life that people just don’t want to accept. I laughed out loud when he said in 10 years we will understand the human brain. What kind of wacky drugs is this man taking?
