I am flabbergasted that I was able to get my TSA Precheck 9 days after appointment. I had assumed it was impossible!

You will never, ever regret being TSA Pre. I got my $85 worth the first time I traveled with it.
That is almost word for word what Heather Solos said. Hell, on the way to Vegas I’d have paid $85 on the spot not to stand in that one line that one time. I promised myself as soon as I got home I’d do this, but I dawdled a week then had a surprise work trip dropped on me. I assumed I had missed the boat. I was at the airport two weeks ago (portland) and they were doing “random” people get to go through TSA precheck. What the hell is with that?
