Han Blix on “bastards in Washington”

Here’s a report in the Guardian about how Hans Blix had officials from the Bush regime pressure him to spin his reports on Iraqi weapons. As they built up to war this spring, they wanted his reports to use more damning language. Kind of like how now they report how US troops found “a mobile lab that could have been used for chemical weapons.” In other words, an empty truck with no actual weapons or evidence of weapons.
