Machinima

I downloaded and watched the Scottish TV thingie on Machinima, mainly because Charlie Stross was interviewed in it. Had I known he’d basically have one sentence and be on for 45 seconds, I might not have bothered to actually download this, then install DivX to watch it. I guess that the Red Vs. Blue animations that I downloaded and watched count as machinima. I found Blood Gulch to be so tedious as to be unwatchable. The dialog, which is basically all it has going for it, was kind of like what you hear in movies made by Kevin Smith disciples – faux hip, self-refential and very hit or miss. All of what I saw missed for me. I ended up stopping after episode 4, deleting the rest unwatched. Sorry for wasting the bandwidth.
