I found this link on alt.fan.zevon. It’s the Covers Project, a database devoted to artists who have covered the songs of others. It does the inverse of the Kevin Bacon stuff, which is devoted to finding the shortest chain. This site revels in long chains, where artist A covers artist B and then artist B covers artist C. Interesting stuff, but I looked for a few minutes before I saw spurious looking data, like David Cassidy covering Shaun Cassidy’s “Do You Believe In Magic” and stuff like that. Still, the idea is pleasantly warped.
