I’m trying to clear out my huge backlog of posts in my FeedOnFeeds. I have hundreds of things I might like to blog in there, so I don’t mark them as read and then eventually there are so many that the whole thing becomes unusable. Here’s a list of a bunch of interesting galleries that have shown up lately.
- From TorCon comes a gallery of science fiction notables giving the finger. My favorite has to be Gay Haldeman, who is such a sweet lady yet looks like she’s having a good time flipping off the camera
- Forgotten NY is a collection of photos of abandonded and decrepit sites around New York
- A gallery of Commercial art of the 50’s
- Collections of posters of illusionists. This one is my favorite of all these – as a kid I spent a lot of time thinking I wanted to be a professional prestidigitator.
- A gallery of Space Art from children’s books
- Collection of ads from comic books. I’ll never forget how I thought the “Money Machine” was going to make me rich and that I’d get to retire at age 7.
