Tuesday evening, I’m going to put on a coat and tie, get on the Metra train and go to this year’s Chicago Java Users Group Gala. It’s a big deal, a nice catered dinner at a downtown hotel with a high powered speaker – John Crupi, the chief architect for Sun Microsystems. This should be a lot of fun. As best I can tell, most of the yearly dues actually go into the funding of this event. I joined a few months ago and am looking forward to this event. It should be a lot of good tasty, classy geek fun. Right on!
