Search Me

The march of blosxom plugins continues on. Today I added the find plugin, which allows for searching the text of this weblog (and the comments!) Probably the person that uses it most will be me. Now, when I want to find a post where I mentioned something previously or an old link, I’ll do a recursive grep on my weblog data directory. Now I can do it from the web interface whereever, which really is handier. I like it! Although I’ve learned my lesson in posting the lists of such things, I will pay attention to who uses it besides myself and what they are searching for. I find that fascinating, just like I find fascinating the search strings people use to find their way here. More geeky fun, more utility for everyone.
