Here’s the situation: There is an office with badge access to the doors. Next to the door is a telephone that calls inside the office, so that you can call someone in the office to let you in. This door is opaque and swings outward. (Can you see where this is heading already?)
I contend that if you are going to make a call on the phone, you should be bright enough to stand to the side of the door, not square in front of it. Otherwise, you will wind up like the sales guy in a nice suit that I completely body checked and almost knocked down a few minutes ago. Just FYI. You’d think this wouldn’t need to be explained to anybody capable of working an elevator and telephone, but sales guys aren’t generally very bright.
