Hurricane Ivan

The next in the nonstop parade of hurricanes, Ivan, hit Mobile AL this morning. It has weakened down to category 3 before landfall, but this is still going to be devastating. I wish these would stop, but even now Jeanne is on a track to come directly where I am. I’m really ready for this year’s hurricane season to be over.

    Well, we’ve just got 2-1/2 months left to go.

    Luckily, they have come very far west, so far. It’s hard to root for hurricanes to not come to your town when you know folks in the towns in which it will land.
