Here is the Bittorrent link and direct MP3 download for the audioblog for September 18, 2004. In this episode, I talk about the Bittorrent experiment and thank the fine folks who are helping seed these files, I talk about the awesome term “podcasting”, I praise the members of the community springing up around “the iPod platform”, and play a song by the Siderunners.

Hi, all I can get right now is 640k of the file as it just hangs there. I’ll try again later.
Aaron, it worked for you eventually, right? I see that at one point shortly after this it looked like you (or someone at the same IP address that left the writeback) was able to get the whole file.
Yes, I tried again. Thank you.
Just downloaded 4 of your shows using iSpider and the show from the 18th seems to have bits in the wrong order. Can’t see why this would be an artifact of the download (unless the implementation of BT in iSpider is wonky.) So I’m wondering if the file you are seeding is f’d up or if iSpider has a serious issue. For reference sake, none of the other files I’ve downloaded from you with iSpider have this problem.
Daniell, I’m listening to the original source file right now, which is the one that I’m using for my seed and 12 minutes into it I hear no glitches (other than the point where my mike cable came loose for a few seconds.) Where exactly in the file are you hearing these scrambles?
