Oh fucking hell, what a thing to wake up to. Hunter S. Thompson shot himself yesterday. As Martin Lee said in the BBC article “Sad but not surprising.” I feel like America has just had a frontal lobotomy – we’re less crazy and more pliable, but we’ve lost an essential part of our personality.
