Here is the Bittorrent link and direct MP3 download for the EGC clambake for March 22, 2005.

I play the infamous iPodderX spot; I talk about getting permission from Sursumcorda Records to play the band Make Believe and then by god I do it; I play a promo for the Skinny on Sports; I talk about my brush with the Demo conference and play an excerpt from Cameron Reilly’s show there; I play a song from The Arts and Sciences; I thank everyone for their indulgence and head on into the future.

This episode is sponsored in part by the fine folks at iPodderX! Don’t forget, you can fly your EGC flag by buying the stuff package.

  1. Thanks for the plug for Rocket Slide Radio.
By the way, The drummer for Make Believe is in my band. I know them. I’m glad to jog your memory. Drop me a line some time.

    Stevan,

That is really cool. I didn’t realize that. I like all the Make Believe that I’ve heard – it is always on the hairy edge between rock and cacaphony and I love them for it.

You make me realize that I forgot to put a link to you in the show notes. Writing those up is really the most odious part of the whole show to me, and as the last step it’s usually late and I miss things. Sorry about that. I really do dig your show.

  3. Dave,
That’s no problem. I’m listening to your show now! Jake Ludington turned me on to your show and I will keep listening.

Dave … I really like the iPodderX commerical. When I first heard it last week sometime while driving to and from eTech I made a note to try to edit a copy out of your show. I wanted to “rebroadcast” it as an example of a good podcast savvy commercial that Adam likes to talk about that get your attention. Keep up the good work – Steve
