Crazy Days

I’m not much of a traveller, so spending a few days in Chicago then turning around and visiting North Carolina over the weekend is big for me. I’ve spent about 10 hours at my house since last Wednesday morning. I thought we were going to have internet in the room since the hotel bills that, but they don’t have it in every single room. Bummer. I walked to the lobby to do a quick mail send-and-receive and to moderate what comments needed it. I may not be online again until we get home.

  1. Not much of a traveller, except for the fact that you pull up stakes and move every 18 months 🙂

  2. When were you in Chicago? ’cause yesterday (Sat) was one hell of a day to be there! Big storms! (At least I think they got to Chicago… They came through Rockford, which is about 80mi NW of Chicago)

  3. Chris, dear god we hope that era is over. And even so, moving to a new place is different than flying out somewhere. Both suck but in different ways.

Adam, I was there from Wednesday morning to Friday night. I managed to get gone before all that happened, thankfully. Getting stuck in O’Hare overnight would be hell.
