On my local 11 PM news, they just referred to a scuffle outside the Santa Barbara courthouse. It was between the Michael Jackson fans and detractors who are gathered outside in their respective vigils during the trial. Honestly, I cannot imagine giving enough of a shit about Michael Jackson to camp outside the courthouse, whether motivated by love or hate.

I’m sooo glad I live on the outskirts of L.A., otherwise I’d pull my hair out again.
A tragic figure no matter what you think of him. Fame at that level is self perpetuating. Persoanlly I think his music went downhill when he stopped working with Quincy Jones. The producer and engineers don’t get the credit they deserve. Let’s hear him make an album at home by himself and see if he is as great as everyone says he is. I would bet that it would totally suck.
