Here is the Bittorrent link and direct MP3 download for the EGC clambake for September 18, 2005.

I play a song from Ronnie Marler and Marty Keil; I talk about the Small World Podcast and play a snippet from the interview with Douglas Rushkoff; I discuss how I am a nonparticipant in all podcast groups; I play a song by Jonathan Coulton; I play a bootleg from the Butthole Surfers and move on.

  1. Wow-that Ronnie Marler song was really soulful-very moving.Jonathan Coulton’s genetically infused power pop was nice too.Funny thing Dave, I don’t think of your show as a music podcast ( probably since you talk most of the time), but your musical choices are impeccable, and most memorable. Glad you got a buzz from the BSurfer live stuff. Please get back to me on 2 stuff package purchase details.

  2. Dave,

Thanks for playing the excerpt form the interview I did with Douglas Rushkoff. I really enjoyed talking to him and I hope anyone who decides to listen to the entire interview enjoys the show as well.

Oh, I’ve got a follow up interview with Douglas with the release of his new book.
