Hurry up offense, I get right to it by playing a Jonathan Coulton song; I discuss Videoblogging Week 2006 and my Converge South video; I talk about seeing David Sedaris in Charleson; I profess my love for the Penn Jillette radio show; I talk about the Chris Bliss and Jason Garfield thing and point out that being a bigger technical feat don’t automatically make it more fun; I play a song by Danny Schmidt; I read a quote by Emma Bull; I talk about doing it for love and making money; I play a clip of myself getting interviewed by Ted Riecken; I do a little mike test to demonstrate cardiod vs. omnidirectional; I play a song by Diana Obscura and Damon Young; adios.

I’m curious about your experience with the Penn Jillette feed. See, they actually just started doing a full show feed like 2-3 weeks ago, before that they were just doing small excerpts of each show. I was subscribed to one of the many bootleg feeds of it until they started doing full feeds, and suspect that you must still be subscribed to a bootleg feed who has just put in a redirect to the actual feed now.
I never ever have heard any type of advertisement on the Free FM feed, and am quite curiouus where the ads you talked about were coming from. My only real hypothesis is the bootleg feed one I already mentioned.
I’m using this one, which is done by one of the affiliate stations:

What feed are you using?

That’s straight from the source on pennradio.com. They don’t seem to put any metadata in, or even list the date of the program, it is just some sort of serial number, but the audio is clean and there’s no promos.
I still have the Re: Your Brains going through my head. I keep scrolling back over that section of the podcast. You always have some great music on your show, but that one may be the funniest one you’ve ever put on.
Also, other podcasters have taken a different view of the juggling videos. They guys on Geeknights feel that the technical superiority of the 5 ball guy is controlling over the 3 ball guy. I’ve seen the three ball guy and now I have to watch the 5 ball guy.
All this discussion over juggling…
Dave! I totally agree with you comments about the ads in the Penn Jillette feed! I had hated the same promo that you talked about!
