My only desire for the near term is to be able to walk into my empty house without crying.

  1. I too lost a pet in the past year. My cat died in December and it was a very sad event. But my cat had a good life and something later that day made me smile. I caught a rat in a trap. I could only imagine the look on the rat’s face when it went through the Pearly Gates and ran into my cat waiting on the other side. yes.

I’m sure Grace is up in heaven somewhere, enjoying some quality playtime with other pets. A place where no leashes are required and she can effortlessly run around.

  2. Hey Professor,

I have 4 dogs that I love very much. We lost one a couple of years ago that we had for 15 years and one of ours still living is about 13 years old. It is hard to lose one but if I could give you some advice:

Get another dog. It doesn’t diminish the love for the dog you lost but the love this dog will give you will really help.

    Keep sticking it.
