The Loneliest House

It's a Dog's Life

As the weather gets cooler, we get sadder again without our puppy to cuddle up with. That used to be the best part of cold days. It sure does suck without her around. Some days it’s hard to even want to get out of bed.

I’ve had pets and lost pets too. When I grew up as kid we had dogs. Since leaving home I’ve had cats. Hopefully you won’t be too melancholy for much longer. Don’t rule out having another dog Dave, there’s many loving orphganed dogs near you at some shelter that I’m sure would be grateful for your company and a nice home with a warm bed. Think about it.

After a major loss, the first year is always the hardest.

My mother said don’t get a dog because they die and then you are depressed but my reason for not having one is that they smell, shed hair all over and you have to wake up to walk them; not to mention what they sometimes leave on the floor but other than that I love them.
