Death and …

We had a fun Saturday evening with Turbo Tax, oh joy. There are still deductions to wrangle and track down, but at this point we owe a substantial amount. The good news is that it is less than we planned to owe and less than what we have set aside for it so in a way I guess that’s good. I don’t want to jump the gun on this, but if the current amount holds up, there might be a computer upgrade in the future. Fingers crossed and receipts gathered ….

    MacBook or MacBookPro, depending on the budget involved. I like the looks of the lower end of the 15″ MacBookPro line. It comes with 1G of RAM and a 120 Mb HD, which is way better than my several year old iBook. With Moore’s law and all, the bottom of the line MacBook is still better than my middle of the line iBook.
