I subscribe to the RSS feed on Flickr for things tagged “myrtlebeach” because I just like to see what people are posting. I see a lot of pictures of drunken 20 year olds in hotel rooms, guys golfing, and lots and lots of beach pictures taken from hotel balconies. It’s all cool, and I do enjoy how in 19 out of 20 of them, everyone is smiling. That’s my experience too.

This morning, I saw one of the photos had been posted by CC Chapman. I thought that was odd because surely CC would have called if he was coming to town. Turns out it was him reblogging a photo of one of his fans listening to Accident Hash. That’s cool, but funnier is that the photo is taken about even with the spot where I take my lunch when I’m lounging on the beach. My recent photo was taken about 50 yards forward of this spot and a little to the right. I tend to park around there so I can easily get a coffee on the way back to the office, and usually go in through the public access by Bummz which is half a block to the right.

Small world, ain’t it?

It is a small world indeed and you can be DAMN sure that if I was in your neck of the woods you’d know. No worries there.
