Nicola Griffith on the Taser Panacea

My dear friend Nicola Griffith has a post up on the Huffington Post about women, tasers and self-defense. Her basic point is not unlike that of much of Bruce Schneier’s writing – tools that are less effective than you think and that lead to a false sense of security are worse than no tools at all with a realistic assessment of risk.
