Game of Thrones Game for Free

I bought the Telltale Games app of the Game of Thrones game a month ago. Now and for a limited time, that game is free on various platforms. I’m still early in Episode 1, and am considering just going ahead and getting the season pass while it is on sale for 25% off. I wish I had waited instead of buying it, because I haven’t gone very far in the game at all. I could have saved $5 and used that towards the season. Oh well, it is all Amazon coin funny money to me anyway.

I very rarely play any sort of games, but having read all of the books, I feel like Game of Thrones games offer an extra dimension over most other games and have been considering getting this.

In the bit you’ve played so far, what’s the ratio of interaction to passive “watch things unfold” footage in this game?

It’s probably something like 20%. There is a fair bit of unfolding without interaction. There are a lot of conversation points where you get to have one of 3 canned replies and a “no response” which is what happens if you choose nothing before time elapses. There was a big physical moment early on, another a bit later and I’ve been in conversation land for a while. I haven’t actually played it in weeks. If it works offline, I might do some on the airplane tomorrow.
