I heard at lunch that Aldis is still planning on going in that spot, they opted to knock it down and start over rather than repair the existing structure.
Ryan’s was originally started in Greer by a guy from mother’s hometown of Williamston, SC. He sold out in 2006 and they’ve had financial troubles since with the two locations within ten miles of me both closing. I don’t eat at buffet restaurants often but it seemed like they were a little better quality than Golden Corral.
