Recovery Mode

Getting WordPress sites set back up on the new server. For some reason every RSS feed is 404 and I can’t figure out why. #joy

    Figured it out, I did not have AllowOverride set to All, so my .htaccess files weren’t doing anything

      It’s not like I haven’t done this over and over, but this is just stumping me. Because the server was compromised I didn’t restore all the backups just the DB. Starting fresh with new WP and plugins in case something was injected in the existing ones. After all that, no feeds. It is maddening

  3. If you ever add a membership style plugin, that can shut feeds down, too. That took way too long to hunt down for a client
