This will be the first trip since getting my Handspring travel stuff, so that should be interesting. In the interest of longer life on the Handspring, I think I'll move the book I'm reading (Vernor Vinge's Fire Upon the Deep from the SmartMedia card into the physical RAM and just pop out the Springboard module. I chose this one because it had the lowest power draw of all the Springboard card based adapters, but it's still something. This is a downside of both using the Visor as the reading platform and the Prism rechargeable at that - the battery life is just plain not that great. Being able to plug in at airports and the hotel should help that. I must remember to pack up stuff like network cables and phone cords for the trip. I'm sick of consistently forgetting that stuff and/or leaving it in hotels. h includes a link to the spiffy MOV file of the "Red Vines" video.
