Today on WREK since it is the last day of finals and getting on to the semester break, they have been running automation all afternoon. I've heard a number of songs that I put in there, including "Gravedigger" by my friends Jonny X and the Groadies, "Monkey Vs. Robot" by James Kochalka Superstar, and right now Sonic Youth's "Mary Christ" is playing. Damn I love that song - I stuck it in as an oldie just because it makes me jump up and down when I hear it. s setting up those directories with meaningful stuff, trying to use this thing like I would in real life. To periodically have that work go "Poof! Sorry, we changed stuff so do all that again!" is not something I'm willing to have happen to me over and over. I played with it for about 5 minutes last night, but avoided getting sucked back into that trap. Sorry guys, your thing is super cool but I don't have the time to burn on you if you're going to keep playing this way.
