At work, the discussion arose about "Object Prevalence" vs. "Object Persistence" (ie, a database). They pointed me (via Slashdot to this article on the subject. One of my weaknesses as a developer is tied closely to one of my strengths. I'm always willing to learn new things, but I spend a lot of my time always climbing the learning curve of the next really cool thing. I'm definitely taking a look at this, though, as it might really help out something I'm doing on the side.
