Happy Mardis Gras, everybody. This is the tenth anniversary of my first Mardis Gras and the eighth anniversary of my last one. In my three years in Louisiana, I never once ventured to New Orleans during this season. I had so much fun in Lafayette that it never occurred to me to leave it.
