Cheap Reads
So far this year, I've had really good luck in scoring cheap reading material. Looking at the photo, the topmost four books in the right stack came from a Book Warehouse store closing sale at a Tanger Outlet Mall. All the rest came from the Friends of the Library sale in Litchfield when we were staying down there for a conference the first week of January. The total for all these books was around $15. That includes the newest Neil Gaiman novel Anansi Boys in hardcover, a Bruce Sterling book I didn't already have, Jonathan Lethem's novel Fortress of Solitude, a Buckminster Fuller book, some books on Mexico and one in Spanish. From the store closing, I got both The Cluetrain Manifesto and John Markoff's What the Dormouse Said in hardcover for $2 apiece. I'd have to say this is a pretty good haul.
