Twangoff

I’m listening to the most recent episode of the Twangoff Podcast. This thing is quickly becoming one of my favorites (thank you, my little AmigoFish.) In episode #5, they play “The Girl I Never Seen” by Bullet Called Life. I’ve heard that song umpteen times, having played it in my own show a few times myself. Every single time I hear it, I get chills. It’s got all the best of your 70’s southern rock schmaltz, prog rock just shy of excess, 60’s Hammond organ groove. It’s just a fantastic song. I thank my brother for playing them first and bringing them to my attention.
